Installation, Use & Care
Prepare the subfloor by ensuring it is clean, dry and level. Clay can be nailed or stapled to wood substrates, glued directly over concrete, or floated with appropriate underlayment. Leave expansion spaces and maintain interior humidity within manufacturer guidelines. For cleaning, regularly sweep or vacuum and occasionally damp mop with water; avoid steam cleaners and harsh chemicals. Protective pads and mats prolong the finish.
