Shim Requirements
2.5mm flooring: Overlap only; no shims
4–6mm flooring: Flush = no shims; Overlap = one shim
8mm flooring: Flush = two shims; Overlap = three shims
Installation Overview
1. Measure and cut the molding; use shims as needed.
2. Apply Mannington TripleStick™ adhesive inside the curved and flat areas of the nosing.
3. Roll the molding into place and press firmly to ensure full contact with the stair nose and substrate.
4. Bond shims using MSS‑20 or M‑Weld.
5. Allow 24 hours of cure time before foot traffic.
