Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown - Sable Apres Oak VGW146T
Sable Apres Oak brings a warm, time-worn oak look to the Karndean Van Gogh Gluedown collection. Inspired by oak from a Bavarian forest, the design includes dark knots, natural imperfections, and textured grain that give the planks a weathered character without making the overall palette overly busy.
Each 48 x 7 inch luxury vinyl plank is 3.0 mm thick with a 20 mil wear layer and micro-beveled edges. The gluedown construction creates a firmly adhered floor and can be used in living rooms, dining rooms, hallways, kitchens, bedrooms, and bathrooms. Karndean identifies the flooring as waterproof, making it practical for areas where spills and routine moisture are expected.

Where Sable Apres Oak Works
The neutral coloring works well when a room calls for visible wood character without a strongly golden or dark brown floor. Its combination of aged oak details and subdued beige and taupe tones can coordinate with both warm and cooler interior finishes.
Routine maintenance is straightforward with regular sweeping and mopping. Karndean also notes that individual planks can be replaced if a section becomes damaged, which can simplify localized repairs compared with replacing a larger area of flooring.
Sable Apres Oak is a practical choice for buyers who want an oak-inspired gluedown LVT with noticeable grain, waterproof performance, and a restrained weathered appearance.
